A happy, harmonious and highly-successful primary school serving the beautiful village of Shenington and its surrounding areas in north Oxfordshire.

Approximately 100 children are split in to four classes from reception up to year six. We have excellent, committed teachers and outstanding support staff. Our results featured recently in the Oxfordshire press making us one of the best schools in the county.

Inside the building, we have an ICT suite in the striking tower room, a school hall / gym and four classrooms with everything the children need.

The school occupies new, purpose-built facilities and benefits from extensive playing fields, a trim trail and an outdoor tennis court. Add in a netball court and football pitches for infants and juniors, and the children have every chance to be fit and healthy  

We have two playgrounds, one exclusively for reception and year one children. We also have a newly-installed outdoor classroom that enables the children to learn in the fresh air.

The children play an active role in the community, making visits to the 12th century village church and often welcoming local people in to the school.

The culture of the school is warm and welcoming. The older children take an active interest in nurturing the younger ones and laughter and lively discussion are the soundtrack to our day.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our results but more than that we value the role we play in developing contented, caring and responsible young people.
